About the Job Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Manager – Systems to join our team. As a Senior Manager - Systems, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's IT infrastructure, with a particular focus on our Office 365 environment Active Directory, Networking and Network Security, Sophos / Fortinet Firewall, and Managing & Administration of Linux and Windows OS, and some Mac OS. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Microsoft Office 365 technologies, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams and Intune. Should be a team player and should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. The goal of the role will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of our IT systems and network infrastructure including Routers, Managed Switches, Firewall (Sophos & Fortinet)
  • Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
  • Administration of Windows & Linux based Systems, and some Systems are on Mac OS.
  • Manage and maintain our Windows & Linux server infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Manage and maintain our Office 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Intune
  • Manage the Domain Names (DNS records such as A, CNAME, MX), and Hosting of these Domain Names owned by Globals across providers such as GoDaddy, Network Solutions, etc
  • Basic Management of Cloud Service Providers such as AWS, Digital Ocean and Azure cloud Services – where you need to fire up instances, shut down instances, basic configuration of the cloud services.
  • Manage Backup using Centralized Backup Servers, Patch Management and Network Security of the Organization
  • Plan and implement system upgrades and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to end-users
  • Monitor system performance and security, ensuring that systems are operating effectively and securely
  • Configuration of video conferencing systems like Zoom, MS Teams, WebEx, etc
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement IT policies and procedures
  • Participate in the development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or a similar role
  • Strong experience in managing and maintaining Windows & Linux servers, virtualization, networking, and storage systems
  • Strong experience in managing and maintaining Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
  • Strong experience in managing and maintaining Office 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Intune
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation
  • Experience of at least 1+ year in Managing domain names and its DNS settings on GoDaddy, Network Solutions, etc
  • Experience of at least 1+ year in managing Cloud Services such as AWS, Azure, Digital Ocean, etc
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols and hardware.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in IT Asset Management and PMS administration (Redmine, Jira and SnipeIT)
  • Bachelors of Engineering (B.E) or Technology (BTech) Degree and /or MCA or MTech
